With the unexpected heavy heat of the past couple of days (most welcome!) my heart was drawn to longing for a big ol' porch to sit in during the warm Summer evenings catching the last of the golden rays,  or to curl up and watch the hot stormy skies gather...Anyway, just thinking... would be nice hey. x

Outside in...

Beautiful windows bringing in sky and gardens into these rooms that have minimal furniture and maximum space... good rooms to be peaceful in.  Makes sense that the ultimate song of peace was filmed in the room full of light at Tittenhurst.  x

Princess and the pea...and THAT bed.

I've always loved this fairytale.  It was never about the princess,  the prince or the was all about the BED.  When I was little I'd sit and stare at all the layers of soft eiderdowns, mattresses and faded, patterned quilts and just wish I could climb up that ladder....
I'm so tired tonight.  I have lots of things I need to do on my mind and last night I stayed awake too long mulling them over. Tonight, unsurprisingly, this is the story that came to mind....x
