Princess and the pea...and THAT bed.

I've always loved this fairytale.  It was never about the princess,  the prince or the pea...it was all about the BED.  When I was little I'd sit and stare at all the layers of soft eiderdowns, mattresses and faded, patterned quilts and just wish I could climb up that ladder....
I'm so tired tonight.  I have lots of things I need to do on my mind and last night I stayed awake too long mulling them over. Tonight, unsurprisingly, this is the story that came to mind....x
