Sunshine....x

I've mentioned it before that I get drawn to one certain colour every so often.  It's nearly the end of January and we've all seen toooo much red and green over the last couple of months,  so I suppose it is an obvious choice that it's YELLOW that's calling me into spring and new beginnings.....Don't you always find yourself buying daffodils straight after Christmas?

To be honest I find yellow a tricky colour for interiors because although it can be beautifully bright and bold, I find I need to be very thoughtful about the colours I have along aside it....But I do love it,  it's warm and cheerful and happy and basically brings out the child in us.
 It reminds me of longer, warmer days, sunlit mornings and amber evening skies........Ahhhh yes..Bring them on! x
